The affiliation with Noah’s Ark marks a step-change for Dentsu Aegis Network SSA after acquiring Cosin Consulting (Cosin & Associados Consultoria e Serviços de Informática S.A) which will join Isobar in Brazil.

This was confirmed  by Brevis Hoets the Group Chief Operating Officer for Dentsu Aegis Network Sub Saharan Africa

The effects of the partnership on both local and global clients is expected to strengthen the network’s footprint in West Africa.”

He further reinstated.

Dentsu Aegis Network Sub Saharan Africa (SSA) is part of the global media group that specialises in media, digital and creative communications and spans over Southern Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda with both owned businesses and affiliates and affiliate partnerships in another 32 markets across SSA.

Noah’s Ark Communications Limited is one of Nigeria’s fastest growing creative agencies and a full member of the Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN). Mr Lanre Adisa also noted that the affiliation would afford the agency the opportunity to attract global businesses and help in its pursuit of putting Nigeria on the creative world map through its audacious and non-conventional creative work.

This arrangement infers that Media Fuse Dentsu Aegis Network, the Nigerian partners of Dentsu, becomes the official media agency in the alignment with responsibility for combined media planning and buying for the network partners in Nigeria.

The combination of Media Fuse Dentsu Aegis Network and Noah’s Ark Communications Limited will create a compelling offering for existing and potential clients of both businesses submits the Group Managing Director, Media Fuse-Dentsu Aegis Network, Emeka Okeke.

Further more the Dentsu Aegis-Cosin partnerships with isobar brazil will aim at aiding client business transformation through brand commerce, digital services and technology while retaining the services of co-founders Alessandro Cosin who will take on the role of Cosin chief executive. His brother Arnaldo Cosin will assume a new advisory position.

At the beginning of September, Isobar confirmed to sources that it will be embarking on a strategic review of the business, with words that it had lowered staff numbers to around 25 at the time.

Cosin Consulting, according to DAN, comprises of around 200 experts who work with a client list that includes Kroton Educational, Itaú, GPA, AB Inbev, Walmart, Bradesco and O Boticário Group, Carat, Dentsu, Dentsu media, iProspect, Isobar, mcgarrybowen, Merkle, MKTG, Posterscope, and Vizeum.

Dentsu Aegis Network is a global media group that specialises in Media, Digital and creative Communications services that Innovate the way brands are built. It has offices in 145 countries including Nigeria, where Emeka Okeke calls the shot as CEO at Media fuse-Dentsu Aegis. 

The acquisition is not likely to have any serious implications on Dentsu Aegis’ business in Nigeria because Cosin consulting has no business interest in Nigeria.
